The mission of Portland Open Bible Community Pantry (POBC Pantry) is to provide essential items with compassion and dignity to those in our community who are going through difficult times.


POBC Pantry is a solution available to anyone in the state of Oregon. We distribute food and other essentials to children, seniors, families and other individuals in need. With 26% of people in our neighborhood living below the poverty level, there is a great need.

PLEASE NOTEPortland Open Bible Community Pantry takes pride in being culturally responsive and strives to constantly review and adjust our organizations policies, practices, service methods and volunteer training to enhance its quality of service. Our staff and volunteers respond respectfully respond respectfully to people of all ages, cultures, languages, races, ethnic backgrounds, political affiliations and other factors in a manner that recognizes, affirms and values their worth, as well as protects and preserves the dignity of each individual. This is reflected in their words, actions and in the overall culture of the organization.
